Kool dudes kool episode, hopefully this grows in a more positive direction than focusing on the negative. Now that you mention it, the marry feature is quite weird for a website which has always had a problem separating its tweenage users from creepy grown ass groomers.
Xat is a pretty weird chat but it’s nowhere near close to the “weirdest” online community I’ve seen. It is pretty up there tho compared to most, you got your own mini chris chans and doxxers, but that thing that makes it tame is that a majority of the chat seems to treat the edgier stuff as being 90-100% just “for the lols” whereas there are actual communities out there that dont bullshit about being actually racist or pro-pedo, etc.
I’m looking forward to asking you about the Xat help fiasco, because as a “real trans” I find it funny for xat help to be offended on my behalf over something that I think is just an edgy joke. Altairs gay jokes are funny, that’s never been MY issue with him, more so his naive notion that most of flirt chat is “just for lols” as opposed to a significant portion of it actually being harmful and malicious. I think anyone who suffers from suicidal ideations should be able to realize this but I guess not. Anyways, I dont think altair should be banned for a gay joke.
lol you should figure out how to integrate the xat flirt chatbox into this website, on a different tab or something, and maybe a place where people can cam up like on tinychat or jumpin, if that’s possible. Good episode, chill dudes bulls****in.
